China Railway Second Bureau Group Co., Ltd. Ethiopia's railways and light rail projects include two projects, "Addis Ababa - Djibouti Railway Lines 1 & 2" and "Addis Ababa East-West Line and South-North Phase I Light Rail Project" For 42 months and 36 months, the total contract amount of 1.905 billion US dollars.
As the sole logistics service provider of these two projects, Beijing Bondex International Engineering Logistics Co., Ltd. aims to provide customers with high-quality port-to-door services. From 2012 to date, a total of 133 batches of equipment and goods were dispatched, of which 1076TEU for containers and 160,000 for bulk groceries. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project, our company has assigned more than 10 employees in charge of the cargo unloading, customs clearance and inland transshipment.
On March 29, 2014, Li Yun, our overseas manager, took part in the experience gathering with leaders and drivers of local shipping companies in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
During the meeting, the two sides summarized and affirmed the achievements made in the previous work stage, and also discussed and put forward the solutions to the problems they raised. In addition, in order to improve the management of drivers, specially invited Ethiopian lawyers as legal advisers. Mr. Li elaborated on the current tasks we are facing and hopes that in the future, our overseas staff will work together with our partners to work together to accomplish the follow-up tasks with high quality and quantity.
